9:00 am: BOD Meeting 10:00 am: Business Meeting 11:00 am: Gayle Gallagher (Producer/Editor) and Wyatt Reed (Director/Writer/Editor/Visual FX) of Pirate Productions will share their experiences in Indie film production as well as their experiences working with large Hollywood sets/locations/actors to help writers portray the behind the scenes aspects of the film industry more accurately.

Whether you're trudging through mid-manuscript, winding one up, or having trouble jumping in because the ideas just aren't meshing together, find your muse at a MORWA-sponsored plotting party. Writers will be broken into small groups led by multi-published authors to brainstorm your way to a better plot.
11:00 am - 12:30 pm: Book Description Blast by Meghan Pinson of My Two Cents Editing. Regardless of your publication level, your book description is an essential marketing element. Meghan will show how to make this brief but essential bit of copy shine whether it is for online metadata, jacket copy, query letters, and pitches. This course will help writers get book descriptions tight, vibrant, and compelling, and teach how best to use it.
